To make IE 8 render data as IE 7:
Click on Tools.
Click Compatibility View Settings.
Enter the BB disabled-URL (i.e. eccc.blackboard.com).
Click Add, then Close.
Restart Internet Explorer (close IE then open it back up)
At that point, the site should display as it does in IE7.
BLACKBOARD log in:
Username is your student id number; password is your six-digit birthday or your MYEC password.
- IF USING AOL, MINIMIZE AOL. GO TO Bb THROUGH INTERNET EXPLORER.
- ONCE YOU LOG INTO A COURSE YOU WILL BE CHARGED FOR IT.

Check your EC email. Instructors will use it to communicate with you. Don't know how to use it? Go to www.eccc.edu, click on "current students." You will find instructions there.
- Log in for email is under "quick links" on the EC home page, www.eccc.edu AND on the left hand side of this page.
- If you change your MyEC password, it will also change your Blackboard login.
